The skill can be mastered in any time from 2 weeks to several months but I encourage you to take regular breaks so you don’t get bored and quit. I have 99 cooking so I know what it’s like.

This is the least important part and does not really matter what kind of food you cook but I advise you cook the best thing you can that you will not burn. Cooking the best food you can won’t make a difference if half of it is burned. This part won’t cost a lot so just keep cooking whatever foods you want until 60.

60-74

For this part, I advise you cook salmon but if you have a lot of money, I would strongly recommend cooking tuna because it will go even faster but hold off on the lobsters because chances are, you might burn a number of them.

Salmon = 9, 140 (roughly 780k)

Tuna = 8, 226 (roughly 1.2m)

74-86

This part may make you quit if you lack patience. At this level, you can no longer burn lobsters which would be the best option here but continuing with tuna or salmon would be sufficient if you did not have much money.

Tuna = 25, 016 (roughly 3.6m)

Losters = 20, 846 (roughly 7.9m)

Basilisks - Level 61, they will require a level 40 in Slayer to kill. For these you'll be going to the Fremennik Slayer Dungeon.

Fire Giants - Level 86, you are going to be going to the Baxtorian Falls. Keep killing and eventually they will stop attacking when you've been there long enough.

Yes it's sad but true. Personally I don't know why Jagex did this, but I'm sure they have their reasons.

I suppose the holiday drops and rare items show how long that someone has been playing, so you can show them off as an achievement. Or perhaps they don't like the fact that some people (Smart people) will hoard loads of holiday drops for themselves, buying them from anyone else that has them, or starting bogus accounts and collecting holiday drops, then when the holiday drop event is over and it's not longer possible to get them, the hoarder would charge a TON of money for each one. Since they're no longer available, people will pay big money for them.

Personally I don't think that it's a horrible thing, but it does present people with an opportunity to collect large amounts of gold and sell it on ebay for example, that's a bad thing as it's against the rules and encourages people to use auto miners etc to gain cheap runescape gold.

Okay, now that we've established a bit of background information on the rare items in runescape, it's time to get down to the specifics of a few of the more popular holiday drops.

his category is the most dangerous, but if successful, the rewards are worth it. High level pking goes from level 20 wildy and above. PKers kill people at high levels near the Greater Demons, Rune rocks or Moss Giants.

1. The line nearest to the top indicates that there are trees in the area that you can get away from. Teleportation isn't really needed in this level of Wilderness.

2. If you happen to see a clan there, run east, then down to the Chaos Dwarfs to lose the PKers. Do not follow the cyan colored line, it will only lead you to multi area where you chances of getting killed is high. Instead follow the red colored line and lose the PKers at the Ice Giants or at the Chaos Dwarfs.

Greater Demons/Demonic Ruins is a very dangerous place to go to as it is in multicombat, 44+ Wilderness and the nearest non-multi area is about 10% of energy run. There isn't any way that you can run away from PKers at the Greater Demons but I recommend running to non multi area first so you can actually survive until level 20 Wilderness. Follow the yellow line along the way.

Tips:

1. have a reliable mage team.

2. Binds can be used at a defensive spell. If you're being attacked by a clan in the Demonic Ruins, either your mage partner binds the attackers or if you're a mage yourself, do the same thing.

3. In the event of a clan attack at the Demonic Ruins, attack the mage in the clan first. They are deadly in later stages of the fight.

4. Don't use teleport Runes unless it is totally necessary. It is not only cowardly, but it can be a mistake for you in high level Wilderness.

5. Don't be foolish by running after a target that you will know you can never catch. You will waste energy and that energy that you have wasted may be useful in a life or death situation.

Ok now if you are looking for a way to get a lot of experience and fast I will take you through a quick tutorial on how to power level. Just note in some cases this will cost you more and will be a dreadfully boring way to play Runescape but will get you more experience in the long run.

Agility

Just to agility courses. Note some of them have a required level to get into. Just use a agility pot and train there, you only need the one dose to get in there. Then to power train with agility, then go to the wilderness course to train.

Combat

The only thing I know of for combat is for members only go to north Relica and kill rock crabs.

Crafting

This is a hard one but free gem cutting and crafting note in order to do this you must have several of the things you are going to craft in stock or it will go no where.

Farming

Well here the fastest way is to buy tree seeds and plant seeds I prefer limp roots but any plant seed will do they take 17 min to grow and I usually will be alching when I farm that's why farming is as high as it is on my main.

Firemaking

Here just use willows, the cheapest log, but it will take more time to level using such a low level log.

Fishing

Now you remember when you were a noob and were getting a lot of feathers. Well go back to the chicken coop and get more the fastest way to get fishing experience is fly fishing at any level.

Potions for Herblore 11-20

These potions will need the ingredients given, the skill given in parenthesis, and will do what it is designed to do.

Strength Potion – (Herblore 12) Making this potion will give 50 experience. It requires limpqurt root and tarromin. Drinking this will give 10-15% additional strength.

Serum 207 – (Herblore 15) Making this potion gives 50 experience. It is made with ashes and tarromin. If afflicted and it is drank, it will heal.

Guthix’s Rest (Herblore 18) Making this gives 59.5 experience. It requires water, harralander, marrentil, and guam leaves. It is a poison cure and restores Run energy levels to the drinker.

These more mid range of the lower level potions can raise your experience more and have better effects.

Potions for Herblore 21-25

These potions will need the ingredients that are given, will give a certain experience, and have better boosts than the lower levels.

Guthix’s Balance – (Herblore 22) Making this potion will need silver dust, garlic, harralander, and red spider eggs. Or, conversely, add silver and garlic to a Stat Restore potion. This will kill off vampires.

Stat Restore – (Herblore 22) Making this potion will require harralander and red spiders eggs. It will give 62.5 experience points and when drank will restore any lowered stats to the base level.

Blamish Oil – (Herblore 25) Making this potion will give 80 experience points. It takes harralander and blamish snail slime to make. You can make a regular fishing pole an oily fishing rod with this oil.

The first method that I like to use by fishing and then selling lobsters on the grand exchange. To catch lobsters you need to be at level 40 fishing. And fishing lobsters is one of the fastest ways to make rs gold since lobsters are fairly quick to catch. I don't sell them cooked, I sell them raw. I sell them raw because of the high demand for them from people trying to reach 99 cooking and get their skill cape. The raw sell for a lot more than the cooked lobsters. Cooked lobsters sell for a max of 219gp each on the grand exchange. Raw lobsters sell for 293 max on the grand exchange and they sell quickly no matter what the amount you are selling, as long as the lobsters are raw they will sell. The cooked lobsters do not sell well at the max price most people are only paying 200gp each for cooked.

Whether it is because of some ancient, buried evil far below the ground, the influence of a savage god or demon, or simply the whim of nature itself, evil trees are known to appear from time to time, forever tainting the soil in which they grow. Leprechauns usually don't notice that the tree is evil until it is too late, and aren't much good at dealing with the problem as their small hands cannot grip a decent axe, and tinderboxes confound them.

Requirements

Evil trees occur in a variety of forms, some of which are harder to deal with, so good Farming, Woodcutting and Firemaking levels are an advantage. You do not need to bring anything with you, as the leprechaun will supply you with an axe and a tinderbox when the tree exhibits its evil tendencies. On the other hand, you can use any axe you have on you to hack away at the tree and its roots.

Note that you can only nurture or attack two evil trees per day.

Getting Started

Evil trees sprout around common Woodcutting areas and close to major paths, but are not terribly obvious until they reach maturity (at which point their terrifying visage makes them difficult to miss). If you are passing by an area in which one is growing, you may notice a small
root burst from the ground and attempt to grab your ankles. Aside from being a malicious thing to do, this is an indication that one is close by.

You can also talk to the spirit trees to discover where one is likely to be, and when it has reached maturity, they will offer to teleport you directly to the arborist's nightmare. If there are no evil trees currently menacing the lands of RuneScape, however, they won't have much to say on the subject.

The first stage of an evil tree's growth is as a sapling (which is entirely unsurprising: it may well be wicked and vicious, but it is still a tree). During this time, the leprechaun will merrily wander about asking passing adventurers to help nurture it. Anyone with the required Farming level can nurture the sapling without any tools simply by clicking on it.

There are five growth stages before the sapling expresses its true nature, at which point you should discover that its thrashing roots prevent you from directly harming the tree itself. In order to get access to the tree, you will need to use an axe to hack the roots away.

Each set of roots cut back will become kindling, which you can then use to set a fire at the base of the tree. The roots will grow back after some time, knocking back anyone attacking the tree nearby.

Trading is a little different to all the other paths to walk - because it doesn't rely on ingame mechanics, but rather your personal abilities. When you strip away everything else - trading requires you to be able to buy low and sell high. And the way to sell high is to gather the items in bulk.

The first thing a trader needs is a little capital to invest. There are two ways to start out - feathers - which will raise your combat level a little as you slaughter all the chickens, and rune ore - which I personally recommend.

To start on rune ore you need to complete the ore quest. It's quite a simple one which will help you gain a passable knowledge of the world map as the most time consuming part of it is the walking around. You'll be told how and where to mine rune, then take your axe and start digging. Like all mining there's a rather annoying time of digging and running back to the bank. That will be frustrating at first because it's boring, but the trick is to soak up that boredom - because boredom is the key to your trader making a lot of money. you see it's no real problem for anyone in the game to mine 50 or even 100 ore essense, but 1000 gets quite dull, and 10,000 is even worse! And that's how you make your money. Find things that are dull to do, but necessary for success, and figure out how to do them. With essence it's easy. You'll find these guys standing around hacking at a rock - offer to buy their essense off them and set a price. Then buy all they can sell you.

You'll learn the prices for things pretty early - but don't assume others know them. To a new player 10gc per essense is a small fortune - and if you have four or five running for you at a time you can build up your stock very quickly - especially if you are mining yourself at the same time.

The trick then is to keep this flow of cheap ore coming to you the entire time you are online. Offer a few bonusses - upgrade their axes for free as they reach certain levels of supply, offer them a 10% bonus if they deliver in quantities over 1000(This will keep them mining for you while you are offline). Then sell what they give you in bulk lots for a much higher price.

Trading is fun, because it involves interaction, bargaining and gets you the monies you need to get on with whatever else you want to be doing. And like all things, the more organised your endeavours, the more successful you will be.

The price for these summoning eggs will surely be very high in the beginning when all of the rich Runescapers will surely pay top dollar to level their skill first.

This will be good though for the woodcutter but The price for logs will probably drop because everyone will want to sell their logs at the same time and when this happens there are always bargains to be found. I am still not sure how the life runes will be made. I bet the developers will tell us soon. There are two more development diaries which will be released by the developers of this exciting new skill before its release in January.

Steps

1.Go to Lumbridge. You can teleport there if you are far away or you can run there. You can also (not recommended) commit suicide fighting something higher than you and automatically go to Lumbridge(this does not work in the Duel Arena).

2.Go to your bank. Put all the items in your inventory inside. You can also deposit your armour so you can run faster.

3.Shear the sheep to get wool. You'll need a handy pair of shears. These can be bought at the General Store for a very cheap price. Get about 27 of them.

4.Store it in your bank. This way, you can continue your task of making runescape gold.

5.Repeat steps 1-4 50 times. By now, you should have about 1.2k of wool.

6.Go to the Grand Exchange and sell all the wool. Wool sells for over 100gp on most occasions.

Tips

If the sheep runs away from you, it is because it sees you. Make sure the sheep has its back turned on you while you shear.

Simply do the Rune Mysteries Quest (which should be a no-brainer as the quest is very easy) and then talk to the appropriate NPC to get teleported to the place where you can mine essence. Once you have mined so your inventory is full, teleport back and make your way to a bank (Varrock is good, as it is very crowded) and sell off your essence. This is a very easy way to make some quick cash and there are very little requirements.

Fishing is another good way to make runescape money. Unlike the first method, it is a little more complicated and has a much higher requirement. Fishing is only really profitable at level 40 or higher, when you can fish lobsters. It will take a good day or 2 of fishing to get to level 40 but compared to mining and smithing, it is a whole lot faster. I suggest you look up a good fishing guide to find an effective way to level up your fishing.

It is important to have a high cooking level along with your fishing level so you will be able to cook what you catch and sell it. Cooked lobsters can go for easily 200 gold, 250 if you're a good salesperson. The only place for non-members to catch lobsters is at Karamja. To get there, you need to go to Port Sarim and catch the boat, which costs a total of 60 gold coins for both ways (to and from the island). Cook your caught lobsters, drop the burnt ones and then make your way to Draynor bank.

Once at Draynor, withdraw 60 gold, deposit your lobsters and then repeat. Once you achieve a goal amount of lobsters (mine is 500), go and sell them at Varrock bank where there are a lot of buyers.

Mining and Smithing is the third way I will be explaining on how to make rs gold. I am not too experienced with this method as it can be very long and very tedious. The basic idea is to mine a lot of ore until you get to a goal amount, store them in a nearby bank, melt all the ore into bars and then smith the bars.

Eventually, after a LONG time you will be able to make unbelievably large amounts from smithing armour and weapons. A more simplified way is to just make money by mining coal and selling the ore straight up for around 170-200 each. Coal only requires a mining level of 30 so this is much easier to reach than smithing armour and only requires the mining skill. A good place to mine coal is at the Dwarven Mines because there is Varrock bank nearby where you can store and sell your coal.

This is an unusual way of making money, but it works. Basically, complete the Stronghold of Security over and over again. The Stronghold is in the Barbarian Village in the mine. You will get around 10k gold in total for completing the Stronghold. It is advised that you do this one with caution because monsters in the Stronghold WILL attack and are very high leveled once you get to the later levels. Bringing food is a good idea and be ready to run.

Regardless this way is quite easy and not very tedious because you are given pure gold so there is nothing to sell. The questions asked in the Stronghold of Security are no-brainers. Another benefit from this way is that there are effectively no requirements. Lastly, this isn't really a major way to make gold but if you are looking to level your combat, fight the dark wizards at the stone henge at southern Varrock. They drop runes which you can sell for a LOT each (as much as 1k?). The wizards will attack at will and are aggressive so this is not advised for if you are below around level 15. Bringing food is ideal.

Next go to the eastern -most bank in Fallador. Wear either really light cloths, such as a leather body and chaps or wizzard's clothes, or nothing, as you will need to run to make the most money. Now take the essence and talisman/tiara and run south from the bank out of fallador and to the air temple. Once in the temple, you will see a LOT of people. Look for one saying something along the lines of "Open! 2k and essence back" and then their name. They may also say Just open, or any variation of that. Trade with one of these (this may take a while, just keep trying) and immediately offer all of your essence. They will offer their money and 25 noted essence. Accept, go through the portal, and run north to the bank. Deposit the notes, take them out again as un-noted, and repeat. It costs you nothing because you get your essence back and is quicker than most other ways of getting runescape money. There, now aren't you glad you didn't lose your account by hacking (or get agravated by trying fake hacks)?

Now, you are probably wondering how people can afford to pay 2k for 25 essence. Here's how, in case this appeals to you. Our tip this week is for all you Runescape players out there. All too often, RS players spend hours and hours trying to make money to get all those things they want. Then head east out of the castle and across the bridge, then north until you see the field to the east with all the cows in it. This is where you are going to make money.

When you first enter the cow-field, you will probably see a lot of other people in there killing cows. All those people training on cows are usually too busy picking up the cow parts, which means all you have to do is walk around and pick up the loose cowhides. Not many players have figured out the secrets of how to increase your Runescape Smithing level, without spending all the gold in their bank. Of all the skills available on the free servers, smithing has the fewest players at level 99. Why is this?

First, it is because smithing quickly is expensive. If you do not want to take the time to smelt your own bars, then it will cost you plenty to buy them. And very few items will sell for as much as the bars cost, so you won't get all your money back. Second, it is not exactly exciting...but the same can be said of any of the skills that require standing around and doing the same thing over and over.

I can't address the boring part (although I will say that I write or surf while smithing if the task I am doing takes a while), but I can stop it from costing you money. In fact, I can probably help you make money at it (although most people, including me, will want to spend the profits on more XP).

There are two things that you can do at lower runescape powerleveling that will be quite effective at raising your smithing level, even on Free servers:

1. Smelt iron ore into bars. This takes only level 15, which is easy to achieve. Even on free servers where you get only about 50% of your bars from your ores, this is still profitable. Iron ore sells for about 99 gp on the Grand Exchange, and iron bars sell for about 229, so you will make a bit of money at this. On Member's servers, you can use a Ring of Forging to get 100% success for 140 bars, and get even more XP and profit.

2. Smelt iron ore and coal into steel bars. This takes level 30, which can be achieved by the above method quite quickly, or by simply doing the Knight's Sword Quest (will take you from level 1 to almost 30). While you can only make 9 bars per trip, you will have a 100% success rate, and the profit on this is much higher: about 40% return on your money. This can very quickly add up, and the extra profits can be used to finance even more smithing.

Cooking can be a fun and interesting skill in RuneScape, since you can often cook several different types of food at the same level. There's a variety of things you can do with this skill, but more importantly, it's an essential skill to survival in the game.

There are 2 main kinds of food in the game:

1.Foods that require ingredients to be mixed together such as bread, pizzas and pies tend to take more time to make.

2.Foods such as fish or beef that need to be fished for or taken from a monster drop and then cooked over a stove or a fire.

Helpful Drinks

If you need a temporary boost to your Cooking level, then the chef's Delight drink is exactly the drink for you. Cooking Gauntlets

These helpful items are a reward from the Family Crest Quest, and will increase your chance of successfully cooking various types of fish.

Fish can usually be cooked on either a stove or fire, but most other foods must be cooked on a range. To cook a food, just use the item with a range or fire. From time to time you may burn the food you're trying to cook, which makes it un-eatable. But, as you gain experience you will get better at cooking and burn less food.

Making Sinew for Crossbows

Due to how Crossbows are designed, they need a much stronger string than Flax can provide. So, you need to make some Sinew to string your Crossbow so that it can be used!

It's actually very easy to make Sinew, and it only requires level 1 Cooking to do. Simply use a piece of Bear Meat (or Beef) with a Range, and choose to make it into Sinew rather than an edible piece of meat. And that's it! You can then spin the newly created piece of Sinew on a Spinning Wheel to get a Crossbow String, and then attach it to your crossbow (u) to complete it.

Outland Fast Powerleveling / Grinding Guide

Want to get to 70 fast but don't know where to start? This guide will show you exactly how to grind your way to 70, and will show you the best leveling spots in each zone.

Hellfire Peninsula 60-61

The best grinding spot in this area are the Wrathguards at the Legion Front. Most of the mobs in this zone are non-squishes, so these are the mobs that die quickly.

Zangarmarsh 61-63

Funggor Cavern is the best grinding spot in the zone as the Marsh Elementals die quickly and do not deal much damage. It's a good place to hang out for awhile, however you should focus more on doing the quests in this zone though.

Terokkar Forest 63-65

Although not all of the mobs in Firewing Point are easy, they are the best mobs to grind in the zone. Sometimes the adds may slow down the grinding a bit. This may not be a great grinding spot but it's probably the best one in this zone. Make sure you get the quests for Firewing Point before you go there.

Nagrand 65-67

The Vir'aani Clan around Oshu'gun (especially at the 3 little crystal areas) are the best grinding spots for this zone. also the Voidspawns around this area die fast too.If you find you can't get enough XP doing the quests, then you can hang out here for a little bit grinding these etherals.

Blade's Edge Mountains 67-68

Questing is the easiest way to level up here as there is no single good grinding spot.

Netherstorm 68-69

This zone really does not have any good grinding spots, the Wrathbringers and Terrorguards are probably the best mobs to grind in this zone. Another decent place could be at the Ethereum Staging Grounds, at 55.39

Shadowmoon Valley 69-70

The Legion Hold is one of the best grinding spots period. The Shadow Council Warlocks die extremely fast and drop good loot. Occasionally there is an Elite that you need to watch out for.

Runescape Hunting Guide: Bird Snaring

Bird snaring is one of the first forms of hunting learned in Runescape. In this guide, we’ll cover how to use bird snares and what types of birds can be caught with these devices.

Bird Snaring

Like kebbit tracking, you can start snaring birds right away at Hunter level 1 in Runescape. The only item you need to get started is a bird snare, which can be purchased for 6 gp each at one of the Hunter shops in Runescape – there’s one in Yanille and one in Nardah. It’s also possible to buy bird snares on the Grand Exchange, but be prepared to pay a lot more for them there than you would at the hunter shops.

When you first start out, at Hunter level 1, you’ll only be able to set one bird snare at a time. As you increase in level, you will be able to set multiple snares according to the following chart:

1.Hunter Level 1 – 1 snare

2.Hunter Level 20 – up to 2 snares

3.Hunter Level 40 – up to 3 snares

4.Hunter Level 60 – up to 4 snares

5.Hunter Level 80 – up to 5 snares

Also, it is possible that a bird snare might fall over and vanish if you don’t keep a close eye on it or you are interrupted by a random event. So, it’s a good idea to have a couple spares, especially if you don’t have a quick method of getting to one of the hunting shops.

Before we get into how to use the snares, we’ll take a look at the different birds you can catch in Runescape and where they can be found.

Types of Birds and Where to Find Them

All birds in Runescape will drop bones, raw bird meat, and some type of feathers. Here’s a list of the various birds you can snare along with some information about each one.

Crimson Swift – The Crimson Swift can be found in the Jungle Hunting Area, southeast of Feldip Hills near the shore. You can start hunting this bird at Hunter Level 1. In addition to bones and raw bird meat, the Crimson Swift will also drop red feathers which can be used for the same purposes as regular feathers. (Click any image for a larger view.)

Golden Warbler – This bird is located in the Desert Hunting Area, southeast of Al Kharid, and can be snared with a Hunter Level of 5 or higher. It drops yellow feathers which can be used just like regular feathers.

Copper Longtail – The Copper Longtail is found in the Woodland Hunting Area near the Piscatoris Fishing Colony. It drops brown feathers (used like regular feathers) and requires a Hunter Level of 9 to snare.

Runescape Hunting Guide: Catching Ferrets and Rabbits

Trying to figure out how to snare a rabbit in Runescape? First you have to catch a ferret. In this Runescape hunting guide, we’ll explain how to trap ferrets and how to use them to snare rabbits.

Supplies Needed
Before you set off on your ferret trapping and rabbit snaring trip, you’ll need a few supplies.

Box trap – You’ll need at least one box trap to catch a ferret to use to flush rabbits out.

Rabbit snare – In addition to a ferret, you’ll need at least one rabbit snare to catch a rabbit. However, it’s helpful to have as many as your Hunter skill allows you to use.

Lit torch (optional) – If you have a Hunter level of 39 or higher, you can use a lit torch to smoke the box trap in order to increase your chance of catching a ferret. This isn’t necessary, though, and you may not want to waste an inventory space on a torch.

Raw meat (optional) – Another way to increase the chance of catching a ferret is to bait the box trap with any type of raw meat. However, like smoking the trap, this isn’t necessary at all.

Trapping a Ferret
Once you’ve completed the Eagles’ Peak quest in Runescape, you can start trapping ferrets in the Woodland hunting area near the Piscatoris Fishing Colony. As a reward for that quest, Nickolaus will teach you how to trap ferrets, and he’ll even give you a box trap so you can start right away.

You can purchase additional box traps at the hunter shops in Yanille and Nardah for 38 gp each. It’s also possible to purchase them at the Grand Exchange in Varrock, but expect to pay a higher price for them if you decide to go that route.

While you’re buying supplies, pick up a few rabbit snares. You’ll need them along with a ferret to catch rabbits, and they only cost 18 gp at the hunter shops.

Ferrets can be found near Nickolaus’ tent on the northwest side of Eagles’ Peak. The screenshot below shows the exact location. (Click any image for a larger view.)

Walk out to the middle of the area where the ferrets are running around and click on the box trap in the inventory to lay the trap.

All you have to do now is wait. If you want to increase your chances of catching a ferret right away, you can bait the trap with any type of raw meat or, if you are Hunter level 39 or higher, you can smoke the trap. However, neither one of these things is necessary so I usually don’t even bother with them.

Once a ferret has triggered the trap, the box will close up like the one shown in the screenshot below. It is possible for a ferret to trigger the trap without getting caught in it, so you may have to dismantle the device and start over.

When you do manage to trap a ferret (and it shouldn’t take that long at all), you can retrieve it from the box trap and it will appear in your inventory. Now, you can move on to hunting rabbits.

Snaring Rabbits
If you travel just a little bit northeast of the ferret area near Nickolaus’ tent, you’ll find several rabbit holes arranged in a circular pattern.

Walk around and set up as many rabbit snares as your level permits in front of these rabbit holes.

After setting up the snares, go to a rabbit hole that doesn’t have a snare and use a ferret on that hole.

The ferret will then flush a rabbit out, and it will run out of one of the other rabbit holes in the circular area. At this point, check all your snares to see if you managed to catch it. If not, use the ferret on one of the holes with no snares again. Keep doing this until a rabbit gets caught in a snare as shown in the image below.

When you retrieve a snared rabbit, you’ll get bones, raw rabbit meat, and a rabbit foot. The rabbit foot is particularly nice because it can be strung and worn as a necklace to help increase the chance of a bird’s nest dropping when you're chopping down trees.

a pickaxe wielded, a full load of essence, and the boots of lightness on, you will have a weight of -2 kg. This will allow you to run longer and carry the maximum amount of essence that you possibly can.

Go to the Rune shop in Varrock, talk to Aubry, and be teleported to the essence mine fields. Mine the essence from the rocks until you are full. Run back to the Varrock bank west and deposit your essence. Once you have around 1,000 essence go to Varrock Bank west and announce that you are "selling 1k of ess". To start off, you may be wondering - what is Runescape Pking? Simple. PKing stands for Player Killing. This means that you go out into the wilderness, and fight with another player of Runescape. A lot of Runescape PKers focus on one or two stats so that they remain a fairly low level player but pack a punch that is much larger than the average player their level. But be warned, other Runescape players are more of a challenge than a mindless monster. An actual player can heal themselves with food, or prayer to defend themselves, and can fight back with their own cunning strategies. The best area for PKing is North of Varrock, preferably North of the dungeon area.

So is it dangerous? In a word ?Yes. Runescape Pking may seems like fun, and yes if you succeed in PKing someone you do get collect your opponents belongings, but there are some things you should be wary of. First off, be careful when you attack another person in the wild. When you attack someone who hasn't attacked you first within the last 20 minutes, a skull will appear above your head and last for 20 minutes. However if someone attacks you, you don't get a skull above your head and you are free to attack them back without receiving a skull. Whilst you have a skull above your head, if you die, whether by monster or person, you lose everything you have on you at that time. Normally you keep your three most valuable things when you die without a skull, but when you have a skull you lose everything.

Another thing you should be careful of, is the other PKers around you. First people to watch out for would be the rangers, people that work solely on their range, sometimes they combine their high range with high defense to allow them to be tougher if they get into close combat. If you are in battle with someone, you can still be attacked by someone who is a ranger, so be careful of that. They are most likely equipped themselves with dragon hide armor, which will make it even harder for you in your battle with them. If you are getting attacked by a group of rangers and are heavily outnumbered the smart thing to do is to run. However, if you have your prayer at least to 40, that will allow you to use protect from missiles to make sure that the arrows do not affect yelp protect you from their arrows ?this prayer is often the difference between making it out alive and being piled.

The second type of player to be careful of in the wilderness is a mage. Now there are two main kinds. Firstly there is a pure mage, who has nothing but magic built up. These mages aim to take advantage of their superior mage to easily wipe out the lower level players or players of their own level quickly and efficiently. There is also, the tank mage. This type of mage has magic and defense built up very high. This is so that they can last in a match against someone who is powerful, long enough to wipe them out with their magic. This is the more dangerous mage, and I suggest you watch out for them. Although you can use protect from missiles, this mage can still pack a wallop with its melee.

So what can you do to prepare? There are some things you should do to ensure you are not killed in the wilderness. Firstly try to go with some friends, sometimes joining a Runescape clan can really help you in this regard. You will most likely need the assistance anyway, if the situation gets bad. Also, it can be to your advantage to have you and your friends sneak up on someone, to ensure that you actually get the kill before they run off, although it means you will have to split the spoils of war. That said in the end it will definitely be worth it, because you are five times more likely to make kills with one or two friends than you are by yourself.

Come with food, preferably lobsters if not swordfish. You will need food when in combat with another person. If they are able to hit high on you, you will need to quickly heal yourself. Lobsters are the most popular food out there when it comes to low level PKing. They are probably the most cost effective food to eat as a PKer, and there is always a good supply of lobsters available.

If you are not a pure mage, or a pure ranger, come with a high prayer level. This way, if you are being attacked by a ranger or a tank mage, you will need to use protect from missiles to make sure the arrows or spells can not hurt you. Also, you might find it helpful to use protect from melee.

What is this I hear about a Combat Triangle? This triangle represents which players can be effective against each other. Basically a mage is more effective against a warrior than it is a ranger, a ranger is more effective against mage than a warrior, and a warrior is more effective against a ranger than he is against a mage.
