Secret No 2: How to Make Friends in Runescape

If you already have a large extended family in RuneScape, then you may not need this Runescape tip. However, this Runescape secret will help you find a fun social network while playing Runescape. Having good Runescape friends also means making millions much easier.

When you first play RuneScape, you might find yourself not being taken seriously in the beginning. For example you might ask someone to be your Runescape friend, but they might think you’re a moocher and only after their Runescape items.

But having a network of friends in RuneScape is an important part of the game. Having friends makes training less boring, fighting Runescape dragons less scary and PKing is ten times as more fun.

Making a Runescape friend in the Runescape game might be different than making one in real life but a lot of the same rules of friendship and loyalty apply.

A key to any good friendship is having something you enjoy doing together. For example, if you like mining, start talking to another Runescape player while you swing your pick or if you enjoy fishing, chat with a new friend about fishing levels while you cage your lobster.

Runescape player levels don't matter to start with. As long as you both can do something together and enjoy it, you can invite a Runescape acquaintance to become your friend, by asking him or her to add you. It’s really very easy, and the more Runescape friends you have the better a time you’ll have playing the game.

Just like in life, sometimes you might get rejected but don't take it personally because usually the rejection has nothing to do with you. For example, a Runescape player's parents could restrict the time they can spend on the computer. For this reason, they may want to focus on playing the game and not chatting.

If you find it hard to make friends, a great way to create loyal Runescape friendship is to make friends with “noobs”. Most people aren't “noobs” forever and could eventually end up being killer Runescape players especially if they have help from good friends.

One of the best ways to make a lasting Runescape friend is PKing. Here's how to do it. If you like to PK then find someone in Runescape around your level. Ask them to team up. At first you may have to watch out for backstabbing but after you get your first kill together, you could have a Runescape friend for life.

Another thing: if you’re selling an item to a Runescape player and it’s a fair price (it should be), then don't hesitate to chat about stuff outside of the trade. You might find that you’ll make a lasting Runescape friend this way – not to mention a reliable buyer in the long run.

It's important that you don't expect anything from your friends. Sure, Runescape friends do favors for each other, but do not expect them to do unreasonable stuff for you. A simple saying you might have heard your grandparents say is true “what goes around comes around”.

The most common mistake that screws up RuneScape friendships is one person demanding something from the other just because “he's a friend in Runescape.” This is a serious no-no: don't act desperate and don’t be a leech, and you’ll have your friends list filled up in no time.

With the help of Runescape friends, your Runescape performance will skyrocket. And of course you'll have way more fun. After all, that's why we play Runescape, isn’t it?

Runescape Money Cheats - Easy & Free Runescape Money Hacks for Runescape 2

So what’s this article all about, well the title sort of covers it; it’s the truth about free and easy Runescape money hacks for Runescape 2. It never ceases to amaze me what lengths players are willing to go to get free, easy Runescape money, aside of course from playing the game. Every day hundreds of people search for free Runescape money cheats which give them access to unlimited or infinite amounts of Runescape money. The sad reality is no Runescape money cheat out there that will change the amount of money you have in your Runescape account or give you access to unlimited free Runescape money. The only way to make Runescape money is by playing the game. What’s even worse is those that are searching for a Runescape money cheat or hacks for Runescape are often only directed to malicious sites owned by Runescape hackers whose sole objective is to exploit your desire to gain easy Runescape money and turn it against you by installing malicious spyware on your computer to hack your Runescape account and take what little money you have.

Free Runescape Money Cheats, Exploits and Hacks

Now there is always lots of talk about their being exploits in Runescape that people can use to hack into Runescape to make adjustments, and in the past yes there have been minor ones, but these Runescape exploits are extremely temporary and definitely not permanent features of Runescape with the Jagex staff constantly patching such glitches. Not to mention such hacking attempts have never been as exploitable to the point that people were able to change the amount of money they had or give themselves unlimited amounts of money, rather were more along the lines of being able to duplicate expensive items that they could then sell, like party hats. Now if you’d like to take advantage of the exploits in Runescape the reality is unless you’re the person to actually find the exploit yourself chances are you have missed the boat because as Jagex gets wind of them they are already fixing them, and if anyone on a website or forum is explaining to you that they know a free Runescape money hack and all they need you to do is email them your account name and password, rest assured they are just a runescape hacker trying to make you their next sucker with the old “I know a free Runescape money hack that can give you unlimited money” routine.

Runescape Cheats & Hacks for Runescape 2

Another big thing is people installing macros or auto that they use to do various tasks on Runescape that earns them money. It’s cheating but not really a runescape cheat that hacks the game, rather just plays it for you. Now it may have been true back in the Runescape Classic days that getting away with cheating, when it came to Runescape macros and autos, was reasonably possible, but with the coming of what is called Runescape 2 these means of cheats have quickly become obsolete with Jagex introducing many means of detection of the use of such programs in conjunction with Runescape 2.

Free Runescape Money Making Guides and Tips

So whilst there may be no free Runescape money cheats or easy and reliable ways of making Runescape money outside of Runescape itself, there certainly are a lot of ways you can make good Runescape money without resorting to Runescape cheats and hacks. It’s called playing the game and playing it well. Unfortuantely like in life there is no such things as easy Runescape money. Again like life you have to either work hard or work smart for it, but in all honesty there are loads of great quality websites out there with Runescape money making tips and 'how to' guides that will have you on your way to making well over 100-200k an hour with a bit of persistence. So what are you going to have to pay for all this great information; nothing; it’s absolutely free and won’t cost you a cent and you don’t need to download some malicious program to make the money. So the moral of the story, find good information resources like Runescape Boards and don’t look for the supposed quick and easy Runescape money cheat or hack, because there is no such thing as easy runescape gold or runescape gold hacks.

Runescape Rare Holiday Items

Discontinued items can be categorized as holiday items and non-holiday items. Holiday items were dropped on certain holidays throughout the year and could be found in random places all over the RuneScape world. Since these runescape items were only dropped once on that particular holiday, they were bound to begin to become rare and eventually with high demand and low supply the prices were forced up and the items soon became valuable and expensive.

Holiday Items

Pumpkins: Pumpkins were dropped on October 2001. They were the first holiday item to be released. It healed 14 health, and was one bite.

Christmas Crackers: These were dropped on Christmas 2001 and had random colored party hats inside them and another random item out of the game. To get the contents out you had to use it on another player. One player got the party hat; the other player got the item

Party Hats: These were inside Christmas Crackers. You can wear them on your head. They came in six different colors: Red, White, Blue, Purple, Yellow, and Green.

Easter Eggs: These were dropped on Easter 2002. They heal 12 HP and are 1 bite.

Halloween Masks: These were dropped on Halloween 2002 and came in 3 different colors. You can wear them on your head.

Santa Hats: These were dropped on Christmas 2002. You can wear them on your head. They are the most common of the discontinued because they were the last released and were hoarded.

These rs items will help you increas your powerleveling.Don't miss them!

Runescape Barrows Guide

This Barrows guide will inform of what I feel are the recommended stats, equipment, and recommended quests etc.

For stats I would say you should be at least level 70 with level 60 or higher defense and attack for strength at least 50. Range at least level 60+ and mage at a level that you can use death runes would be wonderful.

I would recommend that you bring Rune legs, plate, and kite if you don't have Rune armor then Dragon or Barrows armor (I will talk about latter on in this guide) or just addy. Then when you have the melee armor figured out you can work on your Mage armor, I would recommend full mystic possibly split bark if you have a low defense both of which cost about 200000 gold as of early April, 2006. Now for Ranged armor I would recommend that you don't bring full dragon hide just bring the body and the legs if you want. For a bow I would bring a Magic short or Crystal bow, there is only one person you will be fighting with Range. Now for the rest of the equipment I would say bring a few sharks and a lot of Prayer pots a Magical Elemental staff, Slayer staff, or ancient staff and the needed runes to cast at least 100 spells of your choice. To use ancients or magic dart you need 55 slayer and 55 mage I think. Now you are going to need a cape I would recommend an Obby cape, God cape, or Legends cape.

Ok what I bring to barrows. A SPADE I cannot stress enough how important it is to bring a spade if you don't bring one then you will have to go elsewhere. You cannot do barrows without a spade. Now I would bring full Mystic, Glory ammy, Black Dragon Hide body, Crystal bow with 1 or 2 charges remaining, 10000 gold, five or so unnoted sharks with 100-500 noted sharks and three more prayer pots then sharks, runes to do 500-1000 spells then just fill the rest of my slots with prayer pots. Just to let you all know, when I go to barrows I always do it for days at a time. This inventory setup will allow me to do it for one to two days. I personally don't bring Melee armor just because I know what I am doing and I can use the extra supplies more.

Quests needed and recommended for barrows. Need priest in peril, should get In search of Myreque (for faster way to barrows), Ghosts Ahoy for low level mages or if you are using regular spells, or if you are going to use ancients Desert Treasure (for easy teleportation spots) and Nature Spirit if you haven't done the Myreque quest. Shades of Mort'ton is one I would personally recommend for people who plan on doing this like I do, and that is for a day to a few days at a time.

Codes For Runescape

Gaming is a huge industry and one which has a lot of potential to grow and become something big. Gaming was introduced around two or three decades ago as a promotional aspect with a computer and were marketed as the perfect tools for a relaxing and also marketed primarily as a recreational tool. The earliest games were highly basic and did not include high endgraphics and high levels of investments as the games of today are used to having. The introduction of the internet took the world by storm and the gaming sector has profited largely through internet. One of the most popular types of gaming is the online multiplayer games. These games are really popular owing to their wide field of playing and also because of the thrill associated with pitting an individual's wits against another individual sitting in a completely different continent.

One of the most successful online games undoubtedly has been Jagex's Runescape. Runescape is a massive online multiplayer RPG or role playing game and Runescape is said to be the second most popular online multiplayer RPG in the world. In Runescape an individual can control an individual character which he has to develop through a variety of tasks and missions and quests and also utilize the economy of Runescape. Runescape is so popular all over the world that there are 140 fully operational servers of Runescape catering to a huge global audience. Runescape has incorporated two versions of play in its core software. An individual can play as a free user or he can play as a paid user in which an individual has to pay a monthly subscription to Runescape. Runescape has been translated into different languages and the recent German version of Runescape has gained a wide level of acceptance.

Cheat codes or cheats are synonymous with gaming and these cheat codes have almost taken on
the appearance of a deadly contagious disease plaguing every game in the market. Cheat codes
or cheats give an individual employing these cheat codes an unfair advantage over other players. Codes for Runescape are said to be readily available but the truth is far different from this. In reality Runescape is one of the most secure games ever made. There are simply no codes for Runescape. However there are strings of text which are readily available and these strings of text are often mistakenly called as codes for Runescape. Actually these text strings can be typed into the Runescape chat box and when displayed on screen they carry different embellishments and the only reasonable explanation that can be given is that these special texts can help garner attention from other people when a user is looking to buy or sell some items.

A completely different Runescape server which is named Moparscape is one server which allows cheats and codes for Runescape to be entered and these codes and cheats facilitate the acquisition of certain items but this server is for purely recreational purposes and these cheats and codes for Runescape do not actually hold any real value on the competitive server!

Runescape Private Servers

With 15 million users, RuneScape is by far the most popular free MMORPG (massively multi-multiplayer online role playing game) on the planet. Created and operated by Jagex, this online game was released in 2001 whose free-to-play option has catapulted it to the status it currently enjoys.

But, apart from the adrenalin rush, everything finally boils down to the RuneScape economy. Here. "items" rule and can be traded for real money. Items are sometimes raw materials that can be collected from actions such as, say, fishing. Then there are higher skills such as cooking which can also earn a player items. But the most popular way of collecting items is by killing monsters who then drop an item which a player can grab.

When real-money trading threatened to spin out of control, Jagex released a series of updates to the game and introduced the Grand Exchange, to moderate buying, selling, re-selling and trading of items. Though the restrictions on real-money trading stabilised the RuneScape economy, players were understandably chuffed.

RuneScape has thus evolved over time and is still changing as Jagex introduces more and more changes. Take servers, for instance. Jagex has 160 servers across the world. Each one is referred to as a "world" by players. These servers are located in various countries and they are located in a way that provides the most effective connectivity.

Official Servers

Servers are divided according to different criteria. One, each one allows up to 2,000 players to hook up simultaneously. Therefore, a maximum 32,000 players can play at the same time. Servers are also divided on the basis of functionality. For instance, group participation is allowed only on some servers.

Apart from this, Jagex has two members-only servers for RuneScape Classic, each allowing only 1,250 players to connect with each other at any given time. This allows a total 2,500 players to connect simultaneously.

But all's fair in war and RuneScape, right? RuneScape private servers offer a range of possibilities and activities that are not available on Jagex's official servers. No wonder they are immensely popular.

But it took several years of research for these private servers to make an appearance. This is the case with many MMORPGs. The most popular private server for RuneScape players is moparscape, which offers a lot of flexibility.

For instance, players can set their own levels and obtain items that are almost impossible to acquire on the official Runescape servers. Another popular reason players prefer RuneScape private servers is you can play as a member without paying the monthly subscription which is a must to access the full RuneScape version.

Private Gateways

Private servers are a blessing for players who want to get around the rules and are used by those who cannot access Jagex's official servers or whose accounts or IP addresses are banned.

They are illegal and when detected are banned by Jagex as they violate Runescape’s intellectual property rights. But that hasn't helped much. Hackers are able to work around the system with ease and new servers keep cropping up under different names and aliases.

So just where do you find these RuneScape private servers and how do you access them? Either surf the Internet for moparscape or check out RuneScape cheat sites such as sythe, fagex, or eliteneo to learn more.
