Faster Horde Power Leveling With 3 Simple Tips

Horde Runescape Power Leveling will get you to level eighty but the grind may kill you. It can take as long as two years to level a WoW character to level 80 (which is when you can see the Wrath of the Lich King content). Some players will tell you it takes so long that they state with absolutely conviction that they may never level another character. I hope you aren't one of these people. If you are, take a deep breath and read the following tips. Along the way to 80 the first time around, I picked up some very simple tips that will help you level faster.

First Simple Horde cheap runescape Power Leveling Tip: Visit All of The Horde Starting Zones! For those us us in the Horde, this means you have to start and finish all the quests in Mulgor, Tirisfal Glades, Eversong Woods, and Durotar. Get all of the quests done in your races particular staring point. This will get you through the first five levels fairly quick and teach you the basics of how to play the race. When you're done, make sure you move on to the other two starter zones and do all of the other races quests as well. Do this before you move to any higher level areas. You'll get the same level of experience as you got on your first five levels and the other zones will go much, much faster because you'll be at a higher level. The mobs will go down nicely.

Second Simple Horde Power Leveling Tip: Stay Away From Group Quests. You don't have to (and you shouldn't) do all of the quests. You can spend way too much time organizing people or waiting for a group of players to form so you can take on Hogger. There are a lot of other quests to be done. You'll move forward faster by staying on your own and completing the solo quests. If a group comes along and you have zero work to get rolling, than have at it and enjoy yourself. However, don't waste time sitting around waiting for someone else when you can be getting it done yourself.

Third Simple Horde Power Leveling Tip: Focus on Mobs and Quests That Are Below You.Two to three levels below you to be exact. The experience between killing a green mob versus a yellow or orange mob is almost non-existent. In addition, you can get through way more green level mobs during the time it would take to kill and recover from a mob that was at your level. Not to mention that you have a much better chance of not getting a crowd of mobs by accident that you can't handle.

There you go. Three horde power leveling tips that will get you through the newbie levels in no time. When you get out of the teens, the real grind begins. That's when you need to turn to more than simple tips. You can read more about horde power leveling here and read the story of a player who made it to level 76 in just 7 days.

How to Really Make Money on Runescape

For those who enjoy Runescape and want it to stay a fun game, playing within the rules is recommended. The more people that scam each other, the more Runescape programmers are forced to change the rules and restrict how people play. The more the restrictions, the less fun the game will become.

Low Level Character Skills for Getting Runescape Gold Pieces: Cows

When a player first starts out in the game, one of the best ways to get gold pieces is to kill cows in the field just northeast of Lumbridge.

Bury their bones and put their hides and meat in the bank. Sell them later in the Grand Exchange, or for quick sale, sell them at one of the

General Stores.

More Low Level Character Skills for Earning GP: Goblins

Another great way to earn money with low level characters is to take that meat (from the cows) and cook it ("use" with fire). The character should then fill up her pouch with meat and go across the bridge to the east side of Lumbridge.

There is a shack there with goblins walking about. Kill them and pick up what they drop. The meat will be needed if the character is low level to be healed between or during batles, but as the meat is eaten, it will be creating more room to carry the loot. Bring the loot back to the bank in the Lumbridge Castle to sell later at the Grand Exchange. (or for quick resale, sell it to the General Store just north of the castle).

Non-Killing Ways to Earn cheap runescape Gold Pieces for Many Levels: Rune Essence

If killing does not appeal to the player, he can go to the Wizard's Tower and start the quest to learn about runes. Once he has completed the quest, he will be allowed to mine rune essence by being teleported by Aubrey in Varrock.

The player can mine the essence, return to Varrock, put it in the bank just to the north of Aubrey, and repeat the entire process as necessary. Players can keep doing this until the character gets a couple of hundred of them, after which they should take them to the Grand Exchange and sell them there.

They are always in demand and are a very reliable source of income. Plus at higher levels, Rune Essence becomes "Pure Essence" and is worth 2 to 3 times as many gold pieces.

All Levels Money Making: Fishing to get Food and Gold Pieces

Fishing is always a good way to make money; everyone buys fish at some point and many people don't have the patience for fishing. Start out with the small stuff in Port Sarim to get levels up then move to the river in Barbarian Village for Trout and Salmon (and if the player becomes a member, the fishing spots in Catherby are great for Lobsters).

When fishing in Port Sarim, sell the fish at the fish store. After moving to the Barbarian Village, bring the fish to the bank and sell them at the Grand Exchange. They can also be cooked first at the house on the way back to the bank before selling.

NOTE: for anchovies; Cooking anchovies and selling them at the Grand Exchange will bring a lot more money because they can be used by higher level players to make anchovy pizza and many higher level players don't like to fish in low level spots.

Mid to Higher Level Ways to get Runescape money: Moss Giants, Chaos Druids, and Unicorns, Oh My!

Killing Moss Giants in the Varrock Sewers, Chaos Druids in the tunnels under Varrock (enter through the shack east of Barbarian Village) and Unicorns scattered throughout Runescape are also good ways of making money by selling their drops. They consistently drop some pretty valuable things. (Don't throw anything down without first checking with the Grand Exchange and see how much it's worth. Even a single, lowly "Ranaar Seed" is worth over 20K!

Any Level (Members Only) Ways to get Runescape Gold Pieces: Collecting

Go to the dock in Catherby. Talk to the General Store owner, Arhein (not trade or buy) and ask him about pineapples and then about seaweed.

Buy as many as he will sell (there are daily limits) of each for the 2 coins each that he charges. Then take them to the Grand Exchange and sell them. Pineapples average 175 coins ea. and seaweed averages 225 GP ea.

Go to East Ardougne and go the the General Store just north of the zoo. Buy (for 2 coins ea.) all the vials of water that will fit in the pouch and bring them to the bank just east of there. Go back and buy more and continue this for several trips. The next time the character heads back to the Grand Exchange, sell them. Vials of water sell for approx 67 coins (depending on the day). Empty ones sell for 57.

There are plenty of ways to make legitimate Runescape money. The game is fun - keep it that way and it will continue to be free and available to play for many years.

Making Lower Level Potions in Runescape

Runescape, the free MMORPG game, has over two dozen skills that the player can learn and level up.

Herblore is one of these skills, and with this ability players can brew potions and teas for consumption. There are certain ingredients that will be needed and a certain level of herblore skill needed per potion. This will tell what level the player needs to be to brew the potion.

Potions for Herblore 3-10

These potions will need the ingredients given and will do what it is designed to do.

Attack Potion – (Herblore 3) Making this potion gives 25 experience and needs an eye of newt and one Guam leaf. 10-15% addition in attack rating is what the potion will do for the player.

Anti-Poison Potion – (Herblore 5) Making this potion gives 3.75 experience and needs ground unicorn horn and marrentil. This cures poison.

Waking Sleep Potion – (Herblore 5) Making this potion gives 168 herblore experience and needs ground suqah tooth, a lunar vial, guam, and merrentil. These are needed potions for the “Lunar Diplomacy” quest.

Relicym’s Balm – (Herblore 8) Making this potion gives 42 experience points. It requires a snaked weed and a rogues purse to make, and it will cure disease for the drinker.

These lower herblore skill needing potions can be made quickly to raise your experience level.

Potions for Herblore 11-20

These potions will need the ingredients given, the skill given in parenthesis, and will do what it is designed to do.

Strength Potion – (Herblore 12) Making this potion will give 50 experience. It requires limpqurt root and tarromin. Drinking this will give 10-15% additional strength.

Serum 207 – (Herblore 15) Making this potion gives 50 experience. It is made with ashes and tarromin. If afflicted and it is drank, it will heal.

Guthix’s Rest (Herblore 18) Making this gives 59.5 experience. It requires water, harralander, marrentil, and guam leaves. It is a poison cure and restores Run energy levels to the drinker.

These more mid range of the lower level potions can raise your experience more and have better effects.

Potions for Herblore 21-25

These potions will need the ingredients that are given, will give a certain experience, and have better boosts than the lower levels.

Guthix’s Balance – (Herblore 22) Making this potion will need silver dust, garlic, harralander, and red spider eggs. Or, conversely, add silver and garlic to a Stat Restore potion. This will kill off vampires.

Stat Restore – (Herblore 22) Making this potion will require harralander and red spiders eggs. It will give 62.5 experience points and when drank will restore any lowered stats to the base level.

Blamish Oil – (Herblore 25) Making this potion will give 80 experience points. It takes harralander and blamish snail slime to make. You can make a regular fishing pole an oily fishing rod with this oil.

Top Three Ways to Make Gold in Runescape

Making gold in Runescape is not has hard as some want you to believe it is. Making money in Runescape just takes a little time and patience. It's not an overnight thing that just happens. I have three favorite ways to make runescape gold and I am going to share them with all of you. It's not a secret or anything it's just the three best ways I have found to make the gold.

The first method that I like to use by fishing and then selling lobsters on the grand exchange. To catch lobsters you need to be at level 40 fishing. And fishing lobsters is one of the fastest ways to make rs gold since lobsters are fairly quick to catch. I don't sell them cooked, I sell them raw. I sell them raw because of the high demand for them from people trying to reach 99 cooking and get their skill cape. The raw sell for a lot more than the cooked lobsters. Cooked lobsters sell for a max of 219gp each on the grand exchange. Raw lobsters sell for 293 max on the grand exchange and they sell quickly no matter what the amount you are selling, as long as the lobsters are raw they will sell. The cooked lobsters do not sell well at the max price most people are only paying 200gp each for cooked.

The second method I use to make money is woodcutting. Woodcutting is another good skill that is fairly quick to make money with. The best way to make money with woodcutting is to cut yew logs once you are able to do so at level 60. But I would wait until level 61 that way you can use a rune axe to cut them. When you first start out cutting the yews at 61 it is a very slow process but it gets a tiny bit faster with each level you gain. The going price for yew logs on the grand exchange is 350gp each.

Finally the third way I like to make money is a simple and slow way and does not make a whole lot fast but does make a descent profit per labor hour. I like to buy flax from the grand exchange for 85gp each and buy a whole bunch at a time like 1k or more and then spin them into bow strings and sell for 170gp in the grand exchange. It's not a huge profit but it takes little time to spin the flax to bow string so it's not too bad of a method.
